What it costs
These are our standard prices. The first proposal costs more because it includes building your library. Every one after that costs less.
| Service | First bid (builds your library) | Every bid after |
|---|---|---|
| Foundation grant proposal | $2,450 | $1,950 |
| Government grant, contract or RFP response | $4,450 | $2,950 |
| Qualifications package (RFQ / SF330) | $3,950 | $2,450 |
Federal grants and contracts: by quote.
Not sure which one fits?
Send us the RFP and we'll quote it by the next business day, along with a timeline and a checklist of what it requires. The quote is free and doesn't commit you to anything.
Send us your RFPMonthly plan: $1,950/month, 6-month minimum
For organizations that bid often. Each month covers up to one government response or two foundation proposals. We keep your library up to date and track your upcoming deadlines. An unused month carries over for one month.
Add-ons
- Rush (due in under 14 days for government work, under 10 for foundation proposals): +35%
- We handle the portal submission: $250
- Extra review round: $350
- Letters-of-support kit: $150
- Debrief and library update after the decision: included
Payment and delivery
- Half to start, half when we deliver the draft. Final files are released once you've paid.
- Delivery date: the finished package is due to you five business days before the deadline, as long as your materials arrive on the dates we agree at kickoff. If they're late, our date moves by the same number of days. If we miss our date, 25% of the fee comes back to you.
- No percentage of the award. Most funders don't allow it, and grant professionals' ethics rules prohibit it.
- No promise that you'll win. We promise a complete package that follows the RFP, on time.
Other ways to get it done
| Option | Cost | Who does the work |
|---|---|---|
| Do it yourself with software | ~$50/month | You still gather every input and check every requirement |
| Hire a freelancer | $35–60/hour | You manage them and still chase your own team |
| A traditional proposal firm | Call for a quote | They write it, but you won't know the price until you ask |
| In House Proposals | The prices on this page | We gather what's needed, write it, and deliver on a set date |
Common questions
How do you get to know our organization?
We start with what you already have: past proposals, reports and your website. Then we interview two or three of the people who know the work best, and you review two drafts before anything is final.
How much of our time does it take?
Usually 12 to 15 hours across your team for the first proposal, mostly interviews and pulling numbers. Later ones take 4 to 8 hours because we already have your library.
Who does the writing?
Experienced proposal writers based in the US. The practice is led by a writer with 10 years of formal proposal experience, anyone who joins brings similar experience, and every package is reviewed before it reaches you. You'll have one shared list of what's due from your side and when, a short status update each week, and replies within one business day.
Can you guarantee we'll win?
No. Nobody can promise an award, and you should be wary of anyone who does. We promise a complete package that follows the RFP, delivered on the date we agreed.
Why don't you charge a percentage of the award?
Most funders don't allow it, and grant professionals' ethics rules prohibit it. You pay a flat price whether or not the bid succeeds.
What if our numbers come in late?
The delivery date moves by the same number of days. If that cuts it too close, we can switch to rush.
Will you submit it for us?
Yes, for $250.
Do you work with organizations outside the US?
Our focus is US organizations applying to US funders and agencies. If you're outside the US, get in touch and we'll tell you honestly whether we're a good fit.
Have an RFP due? Send it over.
